As we wrap up an exciting Q1, I want to thank you — our customers, partners, and supporters — for being a vital part of FjØRD's momentum and growth. Based here in Austin, Texas, we’ve seen tremendous traction over the past few months across sales, community building, and brand awareness.
Our FjØRD Lux has become our most popular model, and we’ve seen a noticeable shift in our customer base from homeowners to commercial buyers — including gyms, wellness centers, and medical clinics. This marks a powerful affirmation that our cold plunges are not only aesthetically pleasing but built to withstand high-use environments with unmatched performance and reliability.
We’ve remained committed to manufacturing our equipment in the U.S., which has given us two key advantages: a faster, more responsive supply chain and protection from the tariffs affecting many competitors who rely on Chinese imports. It’s a strategic choice that supports American manufacturing and ensures long-term durability for our customers.
On the marketing front, we’ve been intentional and lean — focusing on events, influencer partnerships, and affiliate programs to grow organically. This approach has helped us control costs while keeping FjØRD's pricing and margins healthy, ultimately translating into greater affordability for our customers.
March marked a major milestone with our first official SXSW activation — welcoming over 250 guests and a dozen vendor partners for a powerful community wellness event in the heart of Austin. The following month, we were honored to be the only cold plunge company at the Health Optimization Summit, which helped FjØRD expand our reach nationwide, generate 35+ qualified leads, and confirm demand far beyond Texas.
We’re constantly refining our product line to meet the high standards of the luxury cold plunge market, balancing form and function with reliability at the core. Our ongoing product improvements have been met with excitement and appreciation from our growing customer base.
Community remains central to our mission. Our monthly FjØRD Wellness Days continue to thrive — featuring hot and cold therapy, DJs, wellness vendors, and an uplifting social atmosphere that’s helped us become a recognized name in Austin’s wellness scene.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to launch a new website that better reflects our brand, tells our story, and showcases our unique value. We're also investing in educational content — including our recent blogs on cold water immersion for women, a growing and underserved topic in the space.
As we head into summer, we’re ramping up marketing efforts and expanding inventory to meet rising demand. And we’re especially thrilled to announce our participation as the exclusive cold plunge provider at the Runningman Festival this September, in partnership with Jesse Itzler and alongside the nation’s largest sauna.
